Natasha Lutz-Figy has been working in the veterinary field for over 22 years, with the past 10 years dedicated to Anderson Veterinary Service. She began her veterinary technician studies in Colorado, where she quickly discovered her passion for mixed animal medicine. During her training, she interned at a large animal hospital, gaining valuable experience with cattle and equine care. Over the years, Natasha has also worked at Countryside Large Animal in Greeley,CO, Cedar Vet Clinic in St. Ansgar, IA, and Waseca Veterinary Clinic in Waseca, MN—building a strong background in both small and large animal care.
Since joining AVS, Natasha has continued to expand her knowledge, adding goats and chickens to her own farm. She enjoys the variety her role provides, from working closely with the team to the independence of managing tasks on her own. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is helping others—whether clients, patients, or coworkers—while ensuring the clinic runs smoothly.
Outside of work, Natasha loves spending time outdoors on her hobby farm with her husband, Jake, and daughter, Clara. Much of her free time is spent at the ice arena, where her daughter figure skates, and Natasha serves on the skating club’s board of directors. She also enjoys traveling out west to the mountains, cooking for friends and family, and spending time outdoors with friends and family.
